After years of laughter, late-night drives, home-cooked meals and a thousand small adventures, Arnab & Sudipra are getting married - and there's no one we'd rather have beside us than you. This little corner of the internet is where our story lives. Make yourself at home.

Arnab

The Groom · Engineer & Home Chef

Arnab focuses on the electrical engineering behind various rail and transit projects, spending his days solving complex technical problems, most recently on Toronto's Eglinton Crosstown. After work, he bring that same instinct to the kitchen. He's wired to figure out how things function and then do them himself: it's why he hand-rolls his own pasta, why he'll reverse-engineer a spice blend instead of buying it, and why he taught himself the alto saxophone. Born in the UAE and raised in the GTA, he's happiest in the middle of a problem he hasn't cracked yet.

Sudipra

The Bride · Future Lawyer & Dancer

Sudipra spends her days studying to become a lawyer, with one clear reason behind it — she wants to be a voice for people who don't have one, and to fight for those who've been wrongfully convicted. That same heart shows up everywhere else in her life. She's a trained Bharatanatyam and Kathak dancer who's just as ready to break it down on the dance floor! Her biryani is the kind people remember long after the plate's empty. Born in Bangladesh and raised on the east end of Toronto, she's cheerful, warm, and impossible not to root for.

How It Began

Our story

They met at a conference — Sudipra on the organizing team, Arnab there to attend. He noticed her across the room and, for once, didn't talk himself out of walking over. The conversation came easy from the first few words, the kind where you lose track of how long you've been standing there. Numbers were exchanged before the day was done, a first date came soon after, and they've been together ever since.
